Markus Barth Symposium

Markus Barth (1915-1994) is the son of Karl Barth and former professor of New Testament at the the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary, the University of Chicago, Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, and the University of Basel. Through his vision and initiative, Markus Barth was instrumental in the creation of the Center for Barth Studies at Princeton Theological Seminary. In celebration of Markus’ 100th birthday, the Center for Barth Studies will be hosting a symposium honoring the legacy of Markus Barth at Princeton on December 1-3, 2017.
